Happy Friday! Can anyone else believe we are less than two weeks away from Christmas?? With that being said I wanted to do a Friday Favorites Christmas edition. Let’s get to it!
I begun my Christmas festivities at Busch Gardens’ Christmas Town. A time of year when the park is decorated with Christmas tress to wreaths and everything in between. Enjoyed the smell of Christmas trees, a show with all your favorite Christmas songs, and ended the night with some hot coco! We even got to take the sky lift to see the park lit up from above. There was definitely magic in the air.
Is it really the holidays if you don’t partake in an Ugly Christmas Sweater party? Friends hosted a great party with sugar cookie decorating, hot coco, and ended the night with a Christmas movie!
The friend that hosted the party has an eye for decorating. Can’t you tell from the backdrop in the above photo?? She created the cutest, festive, yet simple DIY centerpiece that I had to share with you all. Put your favorite colors in the middle or use these classic Christmas colors of green, red, and gold.
With the holidays comes invites to Christmas parties, work holiday parties, and even the celebrations on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It’s always fun to accessorize and I did just that with these reindeer earrings! I have plenty of engagements to get use out of the other festive earrings as well.
One thing I enjoy about being out and about around the holidays is the decorations the town puts up. While stopping to grab coffee with Em we couldn’t skip the opportunity to get some pictures with the Christmas tree in the middle of the plaza. It really does brighten my mood while driving or walking around and seeing so many decorations put up and houses lit up.
The latest edition to my Christmas decor is my coffee mug that I bought from target today for only $5! Target is a dangerous place, especially around the holidays. Every time I go in ornaments or mugs seem to find their way into my cart. But how could they not, just look at this mug?!
While talking about coffee and mugs I have found a healthy alternative to one of Christmas time’s festive drinks: eggnog. There are two people in the world. 1. who drink eggnog and 2. people who don’t know how to enjoy a good drink. (Just kidding!) But it is my favorite around the holidays. So instead I made eggnog coffee. I use 1st Phorm protein powders so when I heard they were dropping a limited edition seasonal flavor, Christmas Nog, I had to scoop some up before it was gone. Half a scoop of protein powder into my coffee, a little stir with the frother and you have a healthy, tasty cup of coffee! Plus look at all that foam it gives your coffee, delicious!
This was a longer Friday Favorites but thank you for sticking it out. If you can’t tell I really enjoy this time of year!
