Oh November.
A new month is here. A fresh start if you will.
Except my fresh start, started on the wrong foot. I barely got out of my pajamas to get done what I needed to. I got my first ever traffic ticket today. Some days you are not on top of the world, but doing what you can to put a smile on your face.
Even though today was November first doesn’t mean I don’t get another fresh start tomorrow with a brand new day!
Let’s take today for what it was and find the good that did come out of it. I did mange to get to yoga and oh I’m so glad I did. I ended up running into a familiar face and I felt free for an hour. Just me, myself and my breath.
With tomorrow being a new day and today being the start of a new month I set some intentions for November. I thought I would try this new habit out.
Anyone else set intentions? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?
My intentions for this month are:
- Do more yoga. It is so good for my body, mind, and soul.
- Be more free. The weight of the world does not need to rest on your shoulders.
- Only say what you want to put into the Universe.
- Start mediating.
- Put everything I got into this new training program.
I wrote these to try and help me stay on track this month. We are in charge of our own happiness so might as well keep myself accountable.
