I want to talk to you about passion. What are you passionate about? What makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning?
I think with all this time on my hands I have a better understanding of what I am passionate about…or the lack thereof. I was on a sunset walk around the golf course with my husband and we were talking life, passions, and the path we were on to reach our goals. In the midst of our conversation it was hard to pinpoint what exactly made me light up, set my soul on fire, or made me not dread having to set my alarm for the next day.
“Finding your passion isn’t just about careers and money. It’s about finding your authentic self. The one you’ve buried beneath other people’s needs.” -Kristen Hannah
I can tell you I am passionate about fitness, health, and working out. All of which I fit under one category. I get excited and determined about my workouts. I get pumped up on the way to the gym listening to my favorite music. I enjoy building workouts for myself.
I have a passion for writing and reading. But some days I struggle to open up my book and flip through a couple pages.
I am very passionate about my husband and love every moment we get to spend together be it working out, taking walks, or trying my luck in a game of chess. But relationships and friendships aside because, although they are important aspects of my day to day life, I can’t always rely on them to bring me happiness and a sense of purpose. That comes from within.
Here I am making myself accountable to find what makes me happy. What I desire to do. What I would love to engulf my energy and my time into. It very well could be my fitness journey or my path of reading and writing. But I need to find something within those genres that will ignite a fire in me. Teaching/ training maybe? Or getting my hands on the right books to be wrapped up in their knowledge. Maybe I have been missing out on a hobby due to having to branch out on my own.

I just know I feel lost sometimes. I think that can be from not having a set direction at the moment. Having a purpose to focus my days around may be the answer.
This is a post of me being vulnerable and opening up to you. Thoughts that have been running circles around my head and trying to get a better understanding of. Thanks for hearing me out.
Tell me what are you passionate about? Can you relate? Any new hobbies you are interested in trying? Let me know in the comments!
